The maiden episode of the TV show is headlined as 'The Doorway' which runs for 2 hours. The episode is then followed by other 13 thrilling episodes that last forty seven minutes each. The story in this thrilling TV show doesn't seem to live up to the expectation of many and in fact, the surprise the sixth season has brought forth is amazing. The lead character Don Draper remains the same with a multitude of misgivings including cheating on his wife Meagan.

It was highly expected that the sixth season will bring a new changed man but all the same, it is based on this element of surprise that the Mad Men sixth and final season continues to win the hearts of many film fans. After waiting a year for the release of season six, it is very clear that the TV show is now on its prime with success beckoning around the corner. With just for episodes out, the excitement and buzz associated with this drama continues to grow every day. According to the series creator Mathew Weiner the sixth season will negate away from the norm and might as well surprise a lot of the fans who have been following the AMC drama since its first season.

For many film critics this season is definitely looking to settle a lot of things with regards to the events that have marked the series since its premier in 2007. However, there will be a lot of unsettled business in the series. The question of whether Rodger and Joan will ever speak after the fall out in season five has come up a lot but it is impossible to decipher yet what will be the relationship between this two.

Furthermore, Don's wife Meagan seems to be oblivious to the fact that her husband is cheating on her and despite the glaring warning signs, it seems that it will take a few more episodes to decipher the fate of this mirage. The sixths season will have its critics but based on the four episodes released thus far, the TV show is looking to take the path of the previous five seasons towards success.
